I had worked for John Petrowski and and did not get paid
one cent for all the weeks of work that I did. I saw his ad on Craiglist for a Telemarketer and applied by email. He called, scheduled a phone interview, sent contract, script and list to call from. The rate of pay was $10 for 10 hours a week. I worked for him for about 3 months. I would have quitted sooner than that but I did not have nothing else lined up at the time. He kept making promises that he would pay and never did, I gave him the benefit of the doubt but started to see he was a real liar. I have called and emailed him several times but he never called or emailed back. Most of the times when I called he had a voicemail on. He had told me that things were crazy and he lost a Telemarketer then an someone then someone else. I got to thinking something is not right here. When I saw a pattern week after week after week of not getting paid. I called him several times and told him that he was wrong for not paying me for all the work that I did. I had acquired a lot of leads and did not appreciate not getting paid. I held by my end of the contract, he did not uphold his end. You can not keep getting away in not paying people. I would not recommend anyone to work for John Petrowski, he is a liar and have conniving ways. I hope that he will get action taken against him for all the people he have ripped off and taken advantage off.
How can you call yourself an owner of a business and do not pay people for work you want them to perform. He also stated that he was in a Tax Levy.
For all of his lies and excuses this is not acceptable. You should not be in a business if you can not pay people for services performed. When you do wrong you will not have good luck. Please stay away from this man, he will cause you nothing but grief and financial hardships.

I agree things do happen that you cannot control in certain circumstances. But I dont think a company should ever employee people that they cannot afford to pay for their services. People work and are devoted to their job to in return get paid to be able to take care of their children and their homes. I worked for John Petrowski for a few months with NO PAY. I was given excuse after excuse and still it is July and have not received one dime for the hours that I worked for him. He has made NO attempt to pay me at all. He admits that he owes Lisa and I but it is July now and this situation happend back in November. If someone admits they were wrong you would think that they would make all the effort in the world to pay them back and clear their name and company. Good people are honest and would do anything to see that they treat people like they would want to be treated. John put me and my son in a HUGE financial hardship right around the holidays. And it took me a while to overcome that, since I did work for him for several months with no pay but because I trusted and believed in him and his words I kept working for him. It makes me question everyone I meet now because of the way John did me. Since he admits he owes the money - why would he not make an effort to pay?? It has been 8months now with nothing from him!!

Well, getting the correct name of the agency you worked for would help - and the only pattern I'm starting to see is one certain marketer getting person after person to post which does not make reaching an agreement any faster. Since 2005 I have employed over 35 marketers all of whom have been paid as agreed with the exception of 2. I have terminated over 10 for generating bogus leads - terminated 3 for reselling leads to other agents so there's absolutely a few telemarketers out there who are absolutely not happy. In all fairness I do owe Lisa and Jen money because I did indeed get nailed with an unexpected problem. Bad things can happen to good people sometimes - however, not the amount either of them state. However, having any file ROR reports as some sort of "extortion" for me simply is not gonna work.

Cindy- My name is Lisa and I too worked for John Petrowski for 2 months and he never paid me either except 3 times. I kept wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt as well but he is a lying cheat. PLEASE email me. I'd love to talk to you further regarding this. I am taking him to court and suing him for my money.
