Johnbear Buick GMC John Bear Hamilton They gave a false inspection report to try & make a few hundred dollars St. Catharines, Ontario
I brought a used vehicle in for inspection to decide if I should purchase it or not. The people at John Bear Buick GMC knew if it needed more than $1000 in repairs, I would not purchase the vehicle.
So, in their inspection, they only found about $500 in needed repairs & also told me the car was in really good shape, and I should absolutely buy it.
But, as I later discovered, the car was not in good shape. In reality, it needed over $2500 in repairs. Although John Bear pushed me to get what they said needed fixing, I decided to wait, because something just didn't feel right. Besides, their inspection all ready cost me almost $300!! I couldn't believe the price when I saw it! It was much more than the quote they gave me on the telephone.
I decided to get a repair quote from another garage. The second garage told me the car was not worth fixing, and I should not purchase it.
I tried to get a refund from John Bear for their inspection, but they refused.
I would have never thought that a General Motors dealer could be so crooked.
