Johnny Flyback Amit Handa, Alpha Omega Sold a defective, used watch as new Internet
Johnny Flyback is a guy named Amit Handa who I found online when I was looking for an IWC watch for my boyfriend. He claims to be a watch expert with 20 years of experience and he seemed to know what he was talking about. He worked in Boston for his (now bankrupt) family business named Alpha Omega which I only researched after the fact. It turns out that his family fled for India. They owed creditors tens of millions of dollars and fled the country with millions of dollars of missing inventory. Apparently the FBI was investigating them and the father - Raman Handa - will not come back to face creditors or law enforcement, probably because they will indict him for fraud and embezzlement.
Amit Handa met me at a 5 star hotel in Beverly Hills where he showed me several discounted IWC watches. He gave me the watch at cost because it was a 4 year old model. How I should have known it was too good to be true! The watch was part of the missing inventory at Alpha Omega and it was actually refurbished and out of warranty when I tried to repair the crown and buckle. When I called him up to get it fixed, he claimed that they were minor repairs and that he wasn't responsible for the warranty. I told him I wanted my money back and he laughed and made a joke about it. That's when I started my research on Amit Handa.
If you google "Raman Handa, Alpha Omega, Boston Globe Blog" you will find over 200 comments about this scheister and his family of crooks. Not only did the family rip off their suppliers but they were really bad to their employees who they left high and dry when they fled to India. These people should be locked up and put away!

Googling a Boston Globe Blog hardly constitutes doing research. The 200 comment section referred to is hosted by a group that was angry for suddenly losing a huge amount of ad revenue from Alpha Omega, a company which unfortunately overextended itself and was cannibalized by Bank Of America during the first wave of the recession when BofA had underwritten billions in bad mortgages. The 200 hundred comments are mostly from employees who lost their jobs when the company was forcibly liquidated. The most rabid comments are from either Boston Globe ad department guys or from Amit's ex-girlfriend. Anyway, you allegedly bought a genuine IWC watch at an enormous discount not at a retail outlet, from a guy you met online who even told you it was old. You allegedly took possession of this watch without inspecting it first, failing to notice obvious if superficial damage? I am a close personal friend of Amit Handa. I have bought things from him before, but more importantly, I have known him for decades. It is unfortunate that anyone who is not absolutely satisfied with a real luxury watch bought at an unbelievably low price is going to accuse him of criminality when they change their mind and want to spend their money on some other trinket instead. It is also unfortunate that they are using that silly blog as a verification of their libel.
