Jonathan Leroi Bald Joseph Kelly Hunt Superior Automotive LLP PROCEED WITH CAUTION - THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU Eden Prairie Minnesota
My parents and I purchased and automobile from these 2 individuals, Jonathan Leroi Bald and Joseph Kelly Hunt the owners of Superior Automotive, LLP in Eden Prairie, MN.
My parents had cancer and we needed a good reliable automobile to get us to work and to their medical appointments. We carefully selected a automobile from their inventory and after many assurances from Mr. Bald that this was a excellent automobile (he stated “that the automobile had just been serviced and certified by their mechanic. We paid Mr. Bald in full for the automobile and license and taxes and drove away feeling relieved thing we made a good purchase. Within 3 days we began having trouble the automobile it would not start, we contacted Mr. Bald and he said it was in excellent condition when it left the dealership, he then told us to” take it to our mechanic “ which we thought was odd since he just told us when we purchased it “we just had our mechanic service and certify it”.
We took the automobile to a mechanic and he informed us that we should return the automobile, the repairs could exceed $3,000.00. We informed Mr. Bald and he just started making up stories and that he would get back to us. We waited and waited he never called us back we had to call him each and every time with no respouse from Mr. Bald, my parents and I had the repairs completed.
After a couple of months we realized we never received our license plates or our title, again my father called Mr. Bald, more stories and that he would call us back, he never did!
We called the BBB of Minnesota to report them and their practice, we were told “they have a pattern of doing this“ may father asked why is that not stated on your website regarding them, they simply replied they “remove the derogatory cases once they are resolved,” UNBELIEVABLE, we relied on the BBB rating when we chose to buy and automobile from SUPERIOR AUTOMOTIVE, LLP and bbb of Minnesota knowingly removes negative reviews once they have been resolved, especially people who have a “PATTERN“. In closing the BBB suggested we hire an attorney. We contacted a few and explained our situation, the least expensive would cost us $2,500.00, we could not justify.
My parents and I were exhausted and upset, we parked the automobile and relied on family and friends to get us to work and my parents medical appointments. After many many months the license plates showed up and ultimately so did the title, still no call from Mr. Bald or Mr. Hunt.
My parents have since passed away, we never drove the automobile again. As I look at this automobile it only reminds me of the wasted precious time and no one should have to endure that.
So, if for any reason you get involved with Jonathan Leroi Bald and or Joseph Kelly Hunt whether it be personal or for business proceed very cautiously and prepare yourself for many stories.
