I suppose you are also going to use as a defense that you are a member of the Better Business Bureau in good standing also. Let's see, did AZ Department of Real Estate & Registrar of Contractors have Joe Arpaio's Posse investigate the matter? That would explain how these people got screwed! You make it sound like it is a crime to try and negotiate the best deal you can for yourself in making the biggest purchase in one's life. Also, when you make as many houses as you do, there is the tendency to cut corners and sub-contract to the lowest bidder, regardless of quality. AZ government realizes this and politicians get most of their contributions from realtors, builders and car dealers... therefore, that is the source of most corruption in this state.

We built a home for Mr. and Mrs. Wood in 2002. Their main complaint seemed to be that they did not get extras that they were not willing to pay for. The Woods took these complaints to the Registrar of Contractors. The complaints were investigated and dismissed. The Woods took these complaints to the Department of Real Estate. The complaints were investigated and dismissed. We offered to buy the house back from Mr. and Mrs. Wood. We have addressed every complaint of Mr. and Mrs. Wood short of giving them something that they were not willing to pay for. Unfortunately, when we build as many homes as we do, sooner or later we find someone that we just cannot please. Mr. and Mrs. Wood's property has doubled in value since we built their home. I suspect that they are still not happy. John McManus V.P. Sales and Marketing Joshua Development LLC
