Chase bank contacted me about my mortgage payments being behind. Advised them that I had recently got a divorce and Chase thought it would be a great idea for me to apply for a loan modification. After countless hours of sending docs requested and talking on the phone with Chase, they finally gave me a trial period for a 100.00 more on my house note. So it actually went up 100.00 instead of lowering my note. I disagreed with this amount and was advised by Chase to start the loan mod all over. There was no written communication in the year of 2013, just verbal and I was told it was being reviewed. In 2014, my loan was transferred to another lender. Of course my loan mod with this company was denied because I was so far behind with Chase. My house has now been foreclosed upon and there was a Sheriff Sale but I'm still in the house for now!! While I was with Chase I wanted to send in payments but was told by Chase ALL payments would be refused because it would mess up the loan modification. So now not only will my son and I possibly be homeless but because of Chase, my credit is ruined!! I'm well aware of the lawsuit that was brought agsinst JP Morgan Chase for this same reason!! I've contacted the federal trade commission and many more organizations for help because this is just not fair. So far I haven't received any help but I will keep trying!
