Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

If you choose to work for them, then don't cry about it later if they keep your paychecks. There are way too many stories online, from too many people, that have worked for this company, and never got all their money. Whether it's part of their paycheck that was never given to them, or their entire paycheck, it seems like this company always has an excuse for not paying their employees, that is if they ever give an excuse. A lot of employees have reported not getting the full amount that they were promised, and an even higher number of employees have reported never getting any more settlements once they announced that they were leaving the company.

It's the same story with so many trucking companies. They know that drivers don't have the time, energy, recources, and money to go after them for their paychecks, so the companies simply keep the money that is owed to their employees. And in the very few cases where an employee does hire an attorney, the company simply pays them their money before it ever goes to court.

JSM seems to be no different than all the other companies that utilize this practice. The consensus is, that they make holy grail promises to get you in the door, and once you sign their ridiculous contract, they do whatever they want to you, and you can't afford to fight them.

This is a tale as old as time, so just beware, that this same scenario will very possibly happen to you as well. I read a report on a different website where they offered to pay an ex-employee their money, if the ex-employee agreed to write a public retraction letter, then once the retraction had been written, they refused to give the ex-employee their money.

When choosing a fleet to drive for, always make sure you do adequite research, and never allow yourself to become one of the people that have had so many bad experiences with bad companies. Talk to past employees, look online, make phone calls if you must. If you can't find anything negative about a company (that has been around for many years) then chances are, that is the safe choice.
