Given how much time has passed, you may be out of luck. I researched this scam a little before posting and unfortunately, your story is very common.
Some victims who had paid by credit card were able to get their money back by disputing the charges with their credit card company but otherwise, most people lost everything they paid these scammers.
From what I read quickly online, nobody seems to have had any stories of luck when fighting them and I didn't see anything about any lawsuits against the company, successful or otherwise.
You might have a case for fraud if you can find a lawyer, but they likely won't work on something like this on contingency, which means you'd have to pay them upfront. It could be expensive for you but worth it if they're able to get back your "investment." Sometimes, it just takes a real lawyer to file a real lawsuit against these companies to get them to settle and avoid being dragged into the light of a courtroom.
You'll also want to start preparing yourself both financially and mentally that mistakes were made and the money is likely gone for good. You'll live and its a lesson learned and if something happens to go your way later on this later, then great! Just don't count on it. If you can cope with the loss, you'll be fine no matter what the final outcome may be.
Whatever happens, I hope you're able to find some satisfactory resolution and peace. Good luck.
