Just make the call to Matt at Just Brakes in Houston, TX at their 1300 FM 1960 W location at 281-880-7878 if you want to get RIPPED OFF and LIED TO and BENT OVER all at the same time. Just Brakes consistently lies to the consumer by their false $99 advertisements over the radio.
NO ONE EVER GETS OUT OF A JUST BRAKES FOR $99... IT IS A SCAM!!! Here is the truth: bring your car in, tell them you want the $99 special, sign a release for them to inspect and give you an estimate, wait for endless hours only to be told that you need $700, no wait, $800, no wait $900 worth of work, most of which is not even related to the braking system at all.
Tell Just Brakes that you cannot afford those repairs and you intend on going to another shop for an estimate and they will tell you that there is a Law, (Yes, they actually tell you this) there is some Law in Texas that says they cannot put your tires back on your car without making the repairs. The American Automobile Association and the Texas Dept of Public Safety have never heard of this so-called "Law" because IT DOESN'T EXIST.
Just Brakes will tell you that the only way to get your car back is to have it towed away -- by one of 'their' approved wrecker services.
LIARS, CHEATERS, WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO EVERYONE IS DOWNRIGHT CRIMINAL!!! So please don't be fooled by this..... I am telling everyone and anyone who will lend me their ears -- to not ever, EVER EVER EVER go to Just Brakes!!!
They are by far the #1 worst rip off I have ever known. Marvin Zindler and the Attorney Generals office, Eileen Faxas (11 News Defenders) and all the Consumer Advocacy groups on the Internet will hear it from me LOUD AND CLEAR.... Help us bring attention to this scam so we can protect future 'VICTIMS'!!!!!!
