Just Brakes Over-tightened bearings melted and fused within 100 miles Lilburn Georgia
Associate assigned to do their 4-wheel friction reline was rude and tried to tel me I had to buy hardware kits in order get the reline done. When I resisted, he became very rude, but proceeded with the work.
A second associate took over the work and used an impact wrench to tighten the rear bearings. YOU READ THAT RIGHT!! I watched him do so and told him I thought that was WAY too tight. He told me that the hub would turn easier when the wheel was re-installed.
The first bearing seized at about 65MPH within 50 miles. The second within another 20. Both bearings were welded to both the hubs and the spindles. I spent 14 hours at another Just Brakes location while they tracked down used hubs, new bearings, and repaired the spindle damage.
I just got off the phone with JB corporate office and their customer service guy Chris told me they would NOT refund the approx $100 for the original work. He said my inconvenience was considered consequential damage and their warranty wouldn't cover that sort of thing. ALSO He refused to give me the name of their company president. BEWARE OF THESE FOLKS!!!!!
