Just Brakes ripoff These people are just plain no good Saint Pete Florida
These people are just plain no good. On Feb 7 2004 I went to Just Brakes for a problem. I saw an ad claiming 99.00 special. Ha
I did have more of a problem than that but I figured I needed the brakes done anyway. Well First I needed all rotors replaced so the man said. Can not turn these rotors for they are too old and worn. I knew I needed at least 1 that is why I went to these nice people. Also all calipers where going bad, so he says.
The manager came out and told me that at least can't you fix the two back rotors. I said all I needed was the R/R (rotor) done and the 99.00 special. He insisted that I call a friend to help me out with the money if that was the reason I could not get all the work done. yea right.
While sitting in the dirty lounge another customer was getting the pressure on as well; his was going to cost 600.00 because he never changed his fluid and it damaged the entire system.
Well low and behold 203.76 dollars later I was on my merry way. Oh buy the way the 1 rotor cost 85.00.
I was in the process of moving to Dallas and 1000 miles into my journey the brakes gave out. Right side same as before.
Had the car towed to a Firestone and these people fixed
Just Brakes repaires. These people told me that there was not even a brake pad on the inside of the rotor.
Hotel stay , brakes, Grief, Lots of money spent.
I looked over my bill from firestone and the rotor cost me 44.00
Now there is three rip-offs in this letter.
I contacted the home office and have gotten the run around.
Just a reminder These people are no good.
