I am the brother of a former Officer of this Company that blew thd whistle when it was determined that this company JWM VENTURES run by John McDonald of Las Vegas was scamming people out of their money. I personally invested $15k of my own money in the supposed Angeles Fields Project that was supposed to be an NFL Stadium. This stadium was to have the Raiders as a tenant.
The CEO, John McDonald had eloborate arcitectural renderings of the proposed site in Lynwood, CA, to include pictures with top Raiders brass. Myself and several family friends, many of whom we had known over 10yrs, invested thousands of dollars easily totalling in excess of $100k as a group. We were all promised ROI's of 10% or more. One gentleman had a windows and door business, invested $45k was promised the windows and door contracts for the entire project.
As we were eagerly waiting for several months for the promissed return on our investment we started noticing John with 3 new high dollar black mercedes amg models, that sell easily for over $100k, in addition to his 45ft long RV.
Me being the youngest of the group, in my 20's, would get phone calls long after business hours from John requesting more money. I started to question the legitamacy of the project. I thought this was very unprofessional and I had a very bad feeling I wouldnt be seeing my money again. As the deadlines for our money to be returned came and went John suddenly had to be out of town, sometimes out of the country(mexico) on important business.
After months of hollow promises and stall tactics he stopped returning all our calls. I went to my brother in hopes he could fix things, we all did. John had letters from diffent finance agencies that had awarded him hundreds of millions of dollars for these huge projects he had lined up. none of these projects were ever built. He had one of his employees write a rebuttal to these claims callin them slanderous I laughed so hard I almost cried, after what he did to us, he called it slanderous.
I'm only writing this in hopes of warning other people, you don't have to believe a word I say just do your due dilligence, if he gives you paperwork to give his project credibility call the agency listed on the paperwork to confirm. When my brother started to look past the bogus paperwork given out to people to support his efforts in raising money, they were either long expired or never executed.
The final straw was when my brother and CFO at the time called the City Attorney for Lynwood and he stated there was no NFL Stadium ever planned or approved.
Ive got contact info, including all email addresses and phone numbers of investors that lost money with this man. This is far from Slanderous.

As earlier stated in a previous post, this information is false and slanderous. First our company is not an investment brokerage company. Second, the person alluded to as an Officer of the company was never employed by the company or listed on the Secretary of State cite as a Member or Officer. Third, the supposed investment in the company was never discussed, initiated, or documented. JWM Ventures, LLC was never involved in a lighting industry.
Finally if this continues, we will be forced to file slander lawsuits against all involved including Ripoff Report for allowing this information to continue to be posted. A lawsuit is all ready in teh works with Jane Does 1-100. All the appropriate names will be included at the time of filing. Please refer to the previous report.
