BE VERY AWARE!!!! All you are signing up for is a door to door sales job here folks. They will pamper and cajole you, act like your looking at the best opportunity of a life time. Comes off as sort of "cultish".

Catch is, you work for less than minimum wage your first couple of months as a 1099 employee. They'll pay you $80 a day for about 12 hours worth of work selling low end products at low end prices. Key is, these are products which they have cleverly stamped with they're own "suggested retail value". Ex. If you are selling a telephone for $20, the srp will be around $80, but the darn thing isn't even worth $5. You get me?

Additionally, you are asked to drive your own car around at your own expense, until of course April 15th comes and you can claim mileage, meals, etc. However, at what they pay you (if they pay you) will most likely amount to a loss!!!!

Pampering talk and promises of grandeur are VERY common. Even promises of owning your own store!!! HA. Try searching more on google or elsewhere for "Innovage Better Business Bureau" for more horror stories (Innovage is the company where they get their products from). Good luck with your job search guys and gals.

I too went for an interview and a day of observation. Wow what a mistake! I was in South Port all day with no way to get back to Wilmington except for the kid I drove with. What a ridiculous MLM pyramid scam! I missed other interviews and wasted a day of my life wearing a full suit in the hot July sun. And what does any of this have to do with marketing or advertising or promotions? Its just door to door sales of horrible novelty products. Don't waste you time. I tried to look up K2 Marketing and found nothing. I realized that K2 was the kids initials and he then told me the parent company, Innovage. Google it and you will find tons of info regarding the scam even down to the terminology and phrases used by them. Brainwashed much? I actually was reading about the scam when I was called by my team leader and followed word for word his speech of congratulating me on my "day of o". It was really freaky. Beware of K2 and other similiar companies. Juice!
