Hi i advertised for a tortoise on gumtree.com i had a reply from [email protected] stating she had a tortoise and that she didnt want any money for it just a new home.
she said she lived in scotland and that she could have it deliverd by cargo to me by 3pm that day i thought how lovely, my children were very excited and i told her this
anyway she said i would have to pay a little bit towards the shipping for the tortoise she stated this would cost 90 i said i could not afford that she said how about if i paid 20 and she paid the rest, which i thought was very kind anyway i went to the postoffice and sent 20 along with an extra 12 for sending the money to camaroon, i received a reference number which i had to give to her and i did, she said great the tortoise will reach me by 3pm that day.
4pm i have no tortoise she then emails me stating that the delivery company had contacted her and we needed a bigger air conditioning crate for the tortoise to travel in which would cost a further 90 but was to be refunded to me on delivery of the baby so she called it
i told her i had nomore money she said if i paid 40 then shed pay the rest but id have to send her the 50 she had to pay once id recieved it so i did i sent my 40 +12 again via moneygram i even got an email from the so called company in camaroon stating the tortoise would reach me 4 hrs later.
i rang the number on the email and the man didnt speak english and just said yes yes yes 7pm then was laughing i then knew i had been conned iv tried to keep ringing them again but says the number is not conected.
and guess what SINDY JOHNSON DOES NOT REPLY TO MY EMAILS!!
