Beware of this scam being run by Karen Bohringer at usrthestar Australia. I was recently approached by Karen Bohringer regarding her business venture of distributing personalised DVD's throughout Australia. I found her high pressure, used cars sales tactics to be alarming so i decided to do a search on Karen Bohringer and her company. I did a complete investigation and hope this will help others from falling prey to Karen's predator style tactics.
I have read all the remarks on this blog and have found upon investigation that Karen Bohringer has actually stolen the product line from the American company http://www.urthestar.com/. My investigation revealed that this company filled for the name years before Karen's company even existed and that the owner of this company is in fact the creator and owner of the copyrighted materials. Just to be sure I contacted Urthestar in America and asked them about Karen Bohringer and if she was a distributor and had any rights to the product. I was not surprised when they informed me she had been a distributor years ago and was terminated for none payment of royalties. She had been producing the product in Australia and has been committing copyright fraud and downright theft.
The owner of this company even went so far to send me her official termination notice for nonpayment. Karen Bohringer is selling a product she has no rights to sell or distribute, and has stolen not only the DVD videos but has also stolen the name. There is no shame for this women. She has broken both US and international copyright laws. In her claims to me she actually put it in writing that she was the creator and owner of the DVD video. This is a complete and total lie. Karen even stated to me she was a graduate of Harvard. A simple investigation of the year she claimed to graduate proved to be another lie. Karen made claims about her children, complete and total lies, Karen made claims of other successful start ups, complete and total lies. Karen made claims about her countless charity work, complete and total lies.
Karen Bohringer works out of her home, has no employees, and her claims of running a large office are just more lies.
Be warned there is not a word that comes out of the Karen’s mouth that is the truth
I also did an investigation on this other company Sing Your Name. I verified from the creator that they did in fact have the only license to distribute the videos. I also attempted to check out more about this Kurt Penberg who she makes mention of and found that he has not even been with Sing Your Name since some time last year when his mother died. Why a man who does not even work for Sing Your Name would be called out is just more of her tactics to deceive people by blaming an imaginary person
Please do not be fooled by Karen Bohringer these supposed distributors who have defended her on this blog are obviously written by Karen herself for any real company would have gladly referenced their names. Once again lies and deceptions of creating fake distributors to cover her path of lies and treachery. Does she really think we are all so stupid not see through her attempts of deception
I have found 9 other distributors in my search to date who have been taken in by Karen Bohringer paid a large sum of money and received nothing. It is no surprise that further investigations have shown she is under investigation from several other Australian agencies and will soon be brought to justice

I am a business owner of the ompany that Kurt Penberg keeps trashing on this site for absolutely no reason other than we:
- Refused to do business with him and
- We are successful
I personally know of businesses/competitors of his in the UK, Australia and NZ that he is currently unfairly trashing here on this site and it is an absolute disgrace. Do not believe these posts - they are just more sad lies from Kurt Penberg. We have no ciminal charges, or in fact any charges at all against our businesses and we never have had. He is purely on a hate driven rant because he was rejected by our company and by the woman that heads up our company. And he doesn't like being rejected.
I would like to say to ANYONE that has EVER, or is currently being harassed and trashed with Kurt Penberg lies just like my business – the best revenge is to just keep being SUCCESSFUL! This is what he HATES, this is what he CAN’T STAND – that you are successful and that he has failed at everything he has ever tried. He is so eaten up with JEALOUSY and HATRED for those competitors who have actually made a success of their businesses, that his life has now become that of a sad, pathetic troll – scouring the internet to spread his ridiculous lies and hate.

His reputation precedes him worldwide now due to his deplorable business reputation, so it’s not as easy for him to scam people anymore which is a good thing. common thief. No matter what this con artist writes do not let her lead you down the path of changing the subject away from the facts that she is selling a product that she has stolen from a company.
Do not be fooled by her fake distributors who don’t leave their name and contact details. These rebuttals are all just stupid games that Karen has played to fool others. Guess what Karen, no one is fooled.
The contact name and website for the creator of the DVD's she has stolen and is passing as her own is urthestar.com/. Do your own investigation just as we have. Take the time to call the company, speak to the owner, or send them an email. Get a copy of her termination notice and the original contract that Karen Bohringer signed promising to return all materials upon termination You don’t need to believe anyone on these matters of theft and deceit and can read for yourself the hideous acts this women continues to do with no shame to the others she is hurting
You can also go directly to the us copyright site and do your own investigation. I have no idea who this Kurt penburg guy is but congratulations on allowing all to see her shady attempts of drawing our attention away from the truth.

This report is just another sad, desperate attempt by a very, very sad man to trash a company that just flat out refused to do business with him.
DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD OF THIS POST - it is all part of an ongoing hate campaign by a vicious competitor - Kurt Penberg - who just cannot stand to be rejected.
NO MORE - NO LESS. I worked for this company and I know exactly who he is and what he has done. I also know that he threatened to post false reports on this website and he continues to do so. It is all just rubbish.
