This was an e-bay deal, where I bid on a purse that Katie Nicholas was selling. I won the bid, the winning price on the purse was $210.00. There was a mistake made whereas paypal paid Katie twice. In other words Katie received $415.00 for a $200.00 purse.

I have contacted paypal, e-bay and tried with no response to talk with Katie through phone calls and e-mails. She denies receiving the additional $205.00.

Paypal has confirmed that Katie was definitely paid twice and the monies have been charged to my credit card.

This has been an on going thing since July of 2003.

Sharon was indeed the highest bidder on a purse that was auctioned off on ebay. The purse was a Dooney & Bourke and was sent with delivery confirmation and insurance with signature to protect myself. Several WEEKS later, Sharon contacted paypal to dispute the safe arrival of the purse in an attempt to gain a refund. PayPal received verification of delivery confirmation and closed Sharon's dispute with no refund. After demanding her money back with threats of negative feedback, she left it stating that she had paid PayPal twice. Everyone that uses ebay knows that when PayPal is set up and linked to your account, when buyers complete their transaction, they finish checking out through PayPal by the item number that buyer won. It is IMPOSSIBLE to go through a checkout and pay the item number more than once. Once the item is paid for, PayPal closed the transaction as Paid and you are not given the ability to gain that checkout sequence again. PayPal would have refunded the duplicate amount had there been one if you want to hypothesize about Sharon's side of it. They hold sellers to a specific code of accountability so the market stays safe. Not to mention that if Sharon disputed this with her credit card? And if it were a duplicate charge as she said? They would have refunded her money. They didn't because Sharon received the goods and the transaction was successfully completed. I believe the only "con artist" here is the woman who tried several ways to get her money back with deceitful means and used this medium to tarnish my name. I'm just thankful that anyone that has read this garbage can see right through who the "con artist" truly is because the black and white facts speak for themselves. Shame on websites like this who allow anyone to hide behind a computer and slander names of individuals without reporting the facts.

Call your credit card company and request a chargeback for the duplicate payment. Most of the time they will help you to get your money back.
