I have been trying to speak to service dept for 2 months. It was confirmed by service tech that my pool wasn't intalled properly, when he came out 2 months ago to add more hose so that I could run water thru filter. Can't put filter under deck, pool not level, and the walls are rough. I'm afraid the liner is gonna tare soon. I have documented each phone call. They will not return my calls.

Upon re-opening this swim season, we sent an experienced installer to investigate Deb in Boonesboro's "improper installation". The installer determined that Deb had a drainage system installed after the pool was installed that would take water away from her house. Unfortunately who ever installed the drainage system never considered the problem with diverting the water towards the pool. The pool bottom is made of sand and is built on top of dirt, running water will wash both of these items away. Once the dirt and sand wash away, the pool begins to "sink". Her pool holds 7550 gallons of water, which equates to over 60,000 pounds of pressure plus the weight of the actual structure pushing down on the dirt/ sand that is washing away. This is not poor installation!!! We did however work out a solution for Deb. We fixed her pool and advised her of the situation she created by the installation of the drainage system. We even paid for the new liner, 1/2 the labor charge and the water. I don't think a company looking to rip someone off would offer to pay for anything. I would also like to state my opinion, I personally have no problems with sites like these. I am also a consumer and believe in being able to express concerns. However when a consumer has a problem and the facts are wrong and/or the contractor addresses/ rectifies the problem, the consumer should take the time to also express this on these sites.
