First, contact the D.A. of the City within which the transaction [sale of puppy] was made, as well as file a complaint with the local animal control. Request and keep copies of all paperwork. Also send a letter to the Mayor with a copy to the Department of Agriculture. If your pleas for justice fall upon deaf ears with local authorities, contact the media. Secondly, file a lawsuit in small claims court beings this individual invited you to do so. Only a judge has the legal authority to stop her. There are laws to protect puppy buyers that all breeders and/or brokers must abide by. A judge can and will award a judgment against her to pay all fees [including court costs] and if this individual refuses to do so, then wages can and will be garnished to and including a lien on a home, bank accounts or other assets. Please be the voice of these innocent puppies.

You need to contact the District Attorney's office in your county of residence and the county where this breeder is located (if different than yours). Get statements from your vet indicating what was wrong with your dog. Selling sick animals is probably against the law where you live. You should also contact the breed association where this breeder claims to register her dogs and file a complaint with them as well. If there is a Bulldog Rescue in your area, contact them ASAP and advise them of the problem you had in case they should get any of the sick animals into rescue care.
