How terrible and discusting that you had to go through this terriblee experience. I also had a brush with this rip off artist. Fortunately, I felt compelled to stop doing business with her. I of course lost my deposit, but it was a lesson well learned. May I suggest that you go to one of the following web sites and use some of the links to find reputable breeders. Ask for references. We now have two healthy happy Frenchies, thanks to hooking up with excellent breeders. It is better to wait 6-12 months for a wonderful puppy, than to end up with a sick and dying puppy. Good luck!

Please contact me so we can work together to get our money back and stop these horrible people from selling sick puppies to other innocent people. [email protected] Trisha also told my husband, "Sue me" and hung up the phone. But before she said that she told my husband that it would take 6 months just to get a trial date in court and that we would have to file in Temecula Small Claims. She sure knew a lot of information about getting taken to court! After about 1 week of thinking things over, I decided to write her a letter stating that I was going to accept her original offer of payments of $500 a month. She had told me that she was getting paid on 10-31-04 and that she could send her first payment then. I sent the letter to her (certified, return receipt) and she signed for it on 10/23/04. I gave her until November 5, 2004 for me to receive the first payment. I told her that if I did not receive the payment by then, we would take her to court. To date, I have not received anything. I already filed a complaint with the BBB and I should hear back by Tuesday. I also have a friend that got 2 sick puppies that died. She gets in anywhere from 20 puppies and up a month. She averages about $1700 on each puppy (20x$1700=$34,000). She told me that she only nets $500 on each puppy. ($500x20=$10,000) So how she does not have enough money to refund our money is stupid! She also did not enter how much we paid for our puppy on our contract and she signed it Steve Slack. She only had us initial and sign her copy. The second puppy we got from her, (replacement puppy for the 1st puppy that had to be put down after 10 days of suffering! We had her less than 48 hours) died at her so called "Vets" house. We never got to bring her home! She swore up and down that she had never had 2 puppies get sick on 1 person. All we have left are pictures of the 1st night that we brought our puppy home and our memories. Please help me stop these horrible people!!! [email protected]

Follow these steps in conjunction with your lawsuit. 1. Notify the District Attorney in Lake Elsinore; 2) Immediately notify and file complaint with animal control for Lake Elsinore; 3) Send letter to Mayor of Lake Elsinore and copy Department of Agriculture [Veterinary Services located in Colorado] if animal was an import. USDA has Federal jurisdiction if this animal was an import from out of country. If not satisfied with local officials, contact media. Locate and notify local breed club and rescue [use Yahoo search engine] as these organizations may have received prior complaints about this individual and can possibly put you in touch with other buyers. There are puppy lemon laws to protect buyers that all breeders and/or bokers must follow. Please be the voice of these innocent puppies and bring awareness to this type of senseless animal abuse.
