I first moved to Daytona looking to go to college. I looked at Keiser for their Radiology program.
The staff there did not explain the program to me, or what I was getting into. They just pushed me into classes as fast as possible.
I
attended for 2 months and then dropped the program. I was going to leave the college but was then convinced to enter the Medical Assisting program.

This is the problem, they push the idea that you will get a job quickly as they are a career driven college that doesn't even have electives. This is not true, even though the employees all conveyed that obtaining work would be easy with a degree and being young I believed them.

When I was attending Keiser my financial aid was switched between 3 different people who didn't know what they were doing. Also, I almost missed a military discount because of their incompetence.
They will also make you pay OUT OF POCKET for taking just one class for a semester instead of a few, and THEY WILL SCHEDULE THIS ON PURPOSE SO YOU HAVE TO PAY. I had my last class at the beginning of the semester and had to pay for it out of pocket just to finish school.

The teachers there are great and the programs are accredited, but the rest of the staff is incompetent. Financial aid makes multiple mistakes and they try and milk you for as much money as possible. They also do not let you know when you have extra money in  your account, and when they don't let you know it sits there and goes unclaimed and goes back into the school.

Do not attend Keiser if you have other options! They are far too expensive for the degrees that they offer, the financial aid staff is horrid and they will try to take every penny from you.

I was too late when I realized what I had gotten into. 31,000 dollars in debt for a 2 year degree and no job, been graduated for  8 months. Let that be a warning to anyone who is looking to attend this university.
