Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This company has cheated and lied on several occassions. They are as well listed on the Better Business Bureau: http://minnesota.app.bbb.org/report/13000650/?&language=1

Its really disgusting on how this company operates and the president Richard is a really coniving con artist. I have never in this industry came across such a liar and cheater in these 10 years.. Mr.Richard tops it all off.. Consumers be aware as this company will cheat you for every penny you have. I should have done my homework before dealing with these cheats.. i guess i learned the hard way as they still to this date has not refunded me for parts that are garbage. Please dont fall victim to this preying company or trust me you will really regret it.

Minnesota Computers response.

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Fri, April 02, 2010

The posting above is not factual and is over quantity two $30 ea. working computer printer motors Zilex purchased these from Minnesota Computers back in 2008.

Total value of the transaction is $60.00

The company that posted this is not K_Electronics. The real name of the company is Zilex Corporation, a computer chip/component dealer/reseller based in Canada portraying themselves falsely as a US Corporation. http://www.zilex.ca/
The USA address they give appears to be a PO Box. (See attachment and response from the New York BBB)

If you Google the Zilex USA address on their webpage, 100 walnut St. door #19 Champlain NY 12919 you will see others at this address reported here on RipOffReport.com

On 10/24/2008 a sales rep from Zilex Corp. purchased from a Minnesota Computers sales rep (not Richard Quigley) a $30 computer printer motor.
On 11/18/2008 the same Zilex sales rep purchased a different $30.00 IBM printer motor from our same sales rep.

The sale was non refundable with a 30 day DOA warranty. Minnesota Computers shipped both working motors to Zilex Corporation
Zilex acknowledged receiving the two motors and told us they sent them to their customer in Europe.

Zilex agreed that both motors worked but wanted their money back because their European customer six weeks later rejected the motors.
Zilex demanded their $60.00 back though both motors worked. The contract signed by Zilex stated there was a no refund on these working motors and the DOA warranty was 30 days. When told this the Zilex Corporation sales rep let out a profanity laced tirade demanding her $60.00 back.

Minnesota Computers offered to refund Zilex Corporations $60.00 upon return of the two computer printer motors. Zilex refused, demanding we refund the money first and promptly hung up the phone on us. Upon finding false postings similar to this one we tried in vain many times to contact Zilex Corporation. They just laughed at us and hung up the phone. All this is over two $30 working computer printer motors

Minnesota Computers has been a leader in the computer industry.
Minnesota Computers has served over 75,000 customers since 1987.
We have an A rating with the Better Business Bureau.
A rating that Zilex notes above in their posting.
