KENSINGTON ASSISTANCE AGENCY ripoff and a scam New York New York
My situation with Kensington Assistance Agency is very similar to Gene's situation in Nevada, Las Vegas.
I was sent an Urgent Gram stating to call the above phone number because I had been identified as a possible recipient of a government grant of at least $5000.00
It also stated unlike a loan, a Grant is money the recipient never has to pay back.
They also gave me customer number confirmation number, verification number (2744485). I spoke to a Connie, and a Donna, besides a possible 2 more ladies.
After giving all of my bank info, I said to them "Is this legal" and I was told "Yes". As soon as I hung up, I ran to my computer and went to your site and guess what? "Bingo" My feelings had been right, even though, it was a little too late.
I immediately called up my bank and put a stop payment on the transacion. It cost me $28.00, but you know what? I rather pay $28.00 to my bank than have them steal $299.97. Because that's exactly what I think they are doing, stealing.
Here, I am telling them I'm on a fixed disability income due to Parkinsons Disease and they still tried to steal my money. Oh, I almost forgot. They even told me I did not have to file taxes because I was disabled!!!
My thoughts are, why does the Federal Government allow companies like this one to use their name and NOT do anything about it? These people should embarrassed by the Federal Government. I cannot believe that here in the United States of America, such depraved people are allowed to get away with this!!!
