Booked promotional preview that involved this company for Easter Weekend stay at Crown Reef resort. The check in date 4/6/2012 and check out date 4/9/2012. Friday after check in called Mary the booking agent to complain about conditions of the resort, it was dirty and run down. No one returned my call. Received discounted rate for this hotel in agreement to preview MAP Destinations on Saturday 4/7/2012. Was late due to one wrong turn and a car accident, Map Destinations said they would accommodate us when we got there, then refused to see us after checking out id's for our age.(you had to be at least 25, I am 26, then they gave us more hassle after finding out we were military) Came back two other viewings one at 2:30 April 4/7/2012 and one at 9 am 4/9/2012 where the company refused to see us. It appears the company is profiling based on age, occupation, and military status. Called Kim Green with Quality Vacations Inc. and advised her of our complaints with the hotel and the disrespect from Map Destinations, she stated she would look in to it and call us back. She called me back later that night on 4/7/2012 advised she had booked us again for Monday 4/9/2012 at 9am and made me promise I wouldn't be late. My husband and I arrived 20 minutes early, waited over a hour to be turned down again. I called Kim Green and advised her what happened and she told me I had to call Key Connections but don't call them until she did. I said I though you booked us another appointment for 9 am, she stated basically she told us that I guess so we would go, but told Key Connections we were on Standby. So she lied to us about the situation. Furthermore this company is involved in a scheme for ripping people off on craigslist by advertising discounted rates to stay at the Crown Reef for 89.00 a night, when the Crown Reef website advertises 69.00 a night when booking online in advance. They are clearly taken advantage of people, luring them in to view their vacation package, then profiling them on arrival based on age, occupation and military status. Once they have profiled them and decided rather or not they are likely to buy their product they are rejecting them making the customer unable to preview their presentation in order to fulfill their obligations to the discounted rate based on those three criteria. Then the company is turning around and charging rack room rates to the customer in order to profit from their scheme. I am willing to provide records, documentation, even phone records, and phones numbers of everyone I talked to and a more detailed explanation of exactly what happened. Furthermore this company has terrible customer service, the owner is rude and very unprofessional. When we went to try to be accommodated for the preview 4/7/2012 at 2:30 they wouldn't even allow my husband and I to wait inside, they forced us to wait on a bench outside. The manager refused to take responsibility for the terrible accommodations, and advised us she has her "poker face on right now and don't tell her how to run her business." My husband and I were trying to tell her how we booked the hotel in agreement to come view her product, but the fact the hotel is terrible and we were lied to about the accommodations and indoor pool, then they are refusing to accommodate us in any way due to the traffic from the car accident, that it reflects negatively on her and how her business is managed. The owner at first refused to talk to us when I requested to talk to a manager, and sent her office manager outside to talk to us. The owner is Rosanne Cavalucci. The office Manager is Lynn Hubert. Also while we were there they turned away another young couple stating they were full and over booked. (This happened at the 2:30 4/7/2012 presentation) At the Monday 9 am presentation a middle age black couple that was 20 minutes late to their preview, just like my husband and I, the manager accommodated them professionally and let them in to the preview unlike us without hassle.  I sent a e-mail to all the companies telling them what happened, and how I was treated. Anita Ringo of Key Connections keeps stating I am lying about everything and about contacting them even after providing my phone records from Verizon to her.

At this point with everything I have been through I feel I should be compensated for my troubles and time, and for my horrible accommodations at the Crown Reef resort.
