Hey there, I almost got ripped off by the same scam. This is called a 419 scam, it is a Nigerian based scam. This website will show you how these people operate. I shall show you the forum topic where I listed this scam as it was sent to me. http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=134740 (Notice the similarities? I was asked to send a secret question and answer too) You WILL not ever get a puppy from these people because the puppy does NOT exist in the first place. They will always ask you to send money via Western Union (untraceable) as well as MoneyGram (also untraceable -funds etc) I smelled a rat after emailing and telephoning, their numbers will usually start with 07031 or 07041 which is a service which will forward you to an international telephone call which costs YOU money! There is nothing you can do to get your money back im afraid, but you can FIGHT BACK! I joined 419eater a few days ago and I recommend just joining only to read testimonials and educate yourself on 419 scams. Don't feel embarrassed for being conned, because these people have no morals (unlike yourself) and they have no remorse and are very good at their jobs. These Nigerian operators (scam artists) are not the homeless, penniless people they would like us to think they are, oh no, they are prided on their ability to be able to be rich in their country without working, they are commended for it! Just look on the site to see how they live! Any time you want to buy anything on the internet, or through the internet I would google the email address, phone number, or address of the seller, because thats how I avoided being ripped off this time when I responded to their AD for a shih tzu puppy in the UK! the keyword "Cameroon" is something that popped up a lot and I was able to see that word go hand in hand with "scam" Google is your friend :) I hope this has been of some help to you, Im just sorry I got here too late, when you had already sent some money. PS: 419 is a scam baiting site which morally fights back at these people, you could actually bait the same guy who stole your money and stop him doing this again to someone else. The team on the website baited a greedy nigerian with a (Fake) 7 million $ inheritance and sent him on a 30,000 mile round trip for 3 years! yep 3 years!!!! this is how GREEDY this nigerian was! but he ended up spending all the money he had stolen from people like yourself, he deserved his pitfalls. In any case I have very high morals and christian values , but in cases like yours, I have no respect or sadness for any of these Nigerian Scam Artists and they should all get what is coming to them!

He has said now that the dog has died do to stress. Not to mention the whole time he was trying to use the dog to make us feel bad. Even after he told us the dog was dead he could still not provide us with the information to track her correctly.

After we had tracked the animal he then later told us she had died. Still no word from the fake delivery site and he was unable to provide us with flight plans.
