I needed my locks changed so I took them off myself went up to a different locksmith in Glendale California... She change the Tumblers out gave me new keys.. I went back home to try to put it back together and I couldn't get back together for some reason. I tried and tried and tried and I still couldn't get it back together.. I tried 3 more times and still Nothing!! I ended up just calling a locksmith i figure they know what they are doing it will take him 5 mins and all ends well.. Let me give you some back ground info. It was a beautiful sunny day NOT late or after hours . There was no lockout . No distress. No danger or any emergent issue. I didnt need any products, i had them already and he didnt have to take anything apart. Or break into anything. All He had to do was put a lock back together and that was it!! I googled lock smith and a huge ad for Kings LOCKSMITH AND KEYS came up. it took over the page and wouldnt let me see any other companies.. that was ok though, because according to the website everything was real cheap anyway.. Kings locksmith and keys dispatcher said there was a person in my area I'll send him right over to you.. about 20 minutes later the guy shows up.. I told him everything that i had done and pretty much all we needed to do is just put the lock back together he took less 20 minutes to put it together during which time he placed 8 screws and a squirt of lubricanf and thats it. when I went to ask how much he was going to charge me he said $135.00 dollars.. i was like what? thats seamed a little pricy for 20 minutes.. I told him that the prices on thier website say $19 and $29 for what I was supposed to have done and that was to get the Tumblers changed but I didn't even do that because I already did that myself so according to their website I should be paying around $50 but he charged me 85 more dollars than what the website says stating my lock was "vintage" and that's why it cost $135.00.. such rediculous crooks these people are crooks stay away from them at all cost.. He wouldnt let me pay by credut card stating that his machine doesnt work.
