Well, I can say that I love my G6 kirby that i bought in 2000 but I wanted a upgrade and so A kirby (kid 18)came to my door and I let him tell me all about it and shampoo my carpet. He was a really nice kid but whos not gonna be nice when they want to sell something with a price tag like that....lol I love my kirby and wanted the diamond kirby he was selling so I called my husband at work and he said no way I begged and got it anyways ...Well we faught about it for a bit and he told me to get online and check for kirby sights so I did and I cant believe they were trying to sell it to me for 2,399 but was gonna take off 500 for my kirby and 200 for the down payment so that brought the price down to 1,699 but still I found out we can buy 1 at a whole sale place for 969.00 brand new I called them rite away and told them to come and get it that we would not be getting it and to bring my kirby G6 back to me so they are on there way rite now. I thank god I listened to my husband Seems like he always knows what he's talking about...lol So needless to say I feel they are rip offs for sure though I love the vac doesnt mean I need to pay that price so that they can profit half the price I pay...I do also feel like they are taking advantage of these young kids also I know I have a teen and i will not allow her to sell these for sure I would rather her work at mc donalds!!!!

I think there should be new laws regarding home sales

Kirby et al would have their sails trimmed if the law forbade in homesales of anything over 500 dollars, and a 90 day cool off period for returns....not this 3 day nonsense. Most of the time they get in under false credentials. Then they bring in a team to work on you..... When you're cornered in your home it is very different then being at a store. The pressure is very different. When your home you are basically a captive audience...no kidding. The basic boundries are very different, and even tho' the person is a sales person, the need to be polite and a good 'hostess' is suddenly triggered. There has to be a psychological syndrome to define what happens to people pressured to pay $2000+ for a VAcuum for crying out loud! I'm starting a letter writing campaign for this reason! What Kirby does is criminal. ~m~
