Kirby Vacuum Sales ripoff evil dirt bags/demeaned phoenix Arizona
In December, 2002, I let a Kirby door to door salesman come over under the premise of cleaning 2 rooms of my carpet. I agreed to sit thru the sales pitch to get this done. From the moment the man walked in the door, he was extremely demeaning to myself and my son, who was present during the sales demo. He kept asking to use my phone, even tho his cellphone was visible, constantly ringing, and lit up.
i said no, use your own! he told me repeatedly that it was broken. he made phony phone calls to his supposed manager, "mr. miller", and told him that i just couldnt afford the product, that i was in love with it, etc. none of wich was true--i had advised the man i could afford to pay cash if i wanted to, and that i wasnt even that impressed with the vacuum!
he then left all of the dirty filter things all over my floor. thanks to this experience, i would never even consider purchasing any item with the name "kirby" anywhere on it!
