Another dirt bag Law firm doing Illegal things. This firm got a bogus judgement against a buiness of mine 12 years ago, Instread of renewing the old Judgment they got a new clerks judgment this year,  , So it shows up as a brand new one. They are Legally aloud to renew the old one for another 10 years but cannot collect on it after 10 years,So thats why they did it this way so they can try to collect all over again. As usually I was never served papers to go to court it was filed in a different part of the state as a mail in judgement, Knew nothing about it till my Credit alert told me about it. Spoke with a women there called mrs BOBO like thats a real name. Spoke with NYS Attorneys generals office told me to start a case against them. I was told this is there new way of freezeing people assets, Most people do not relized that this can be fought because it was not done by the NYS laws that protect you from preditors like them, Lets start a class action suit and teach them a that they just cannot do what ever they want to do. And shut them done with some heavy fines. And have there Law Licences REVOKED.......................

Double jeopardy?

So now they have 2 Judgments for 1 case.

This seems like double jeopardy to me.  I have never heard of this occurring in NY.  I'm aware that the money judgments in NY are valid for 20 years so I don't understand why they approached a court about this as the judgment was not running out.

All I can suggest to you is to hire an attorney to straighten this mess out.  With 2 judgments in equal force, it would appear that you now owe TWICE as much.  It appears to me that you'll have to approach the SECOND court to have the judgment VACATED.

Good luck.

Clerks Judgement

This is a new one even for the courts, As I was told by them. I was told by the court that it is a right in judgement, Were they never appeared in court, It was all done thru the mail. And from an attorney from a different county in the state. I have Talked to an Attorney as told to do so by NYS Attorney Generals Office, They even gave me a list of Attorneys to use. If they went thru the legal cannels they would have just renewed the old Judgement and it would have the same docit # . This does not .. It was like a whole new case brought against me. So now they have 2 Judgments for 1 case. If anybody has ever heard of anything like this please let me know how they would handle it. I would like to hire an attorney who really know the laws and stop this new practice and make a name for themselves in the process.

This firm got a bogus judgement against a buiness of mine 12 years ago, Instread of renewing the old Judgment they got a new clerks judgment this year,  ,

What is a clerk's judgment?  I've never heard of this.

So it shows up as a brand new one. They are Legally aloud to renew the old one for another 10 years but cannot collect on it after 10 years,

What was the reason for the original judgment?  In NY State, a money judgment is good for 20 years, not 10.  This is per NY State Civil Practice and Rules, Article 2 Limitations of Time, Section 211.

So thats why they did it this way so they can try to collect all over again.

Collect again?  Was the original judgment satisfied?

As usually I was never served papers to go to court it was filed in a different part of the state as a mail in judgement, Knew nothing about it till my Credit alert told me about it.

It's probably too late for you to contest the judgment because of improper service.  The time for that was when you learned about the original judgment.  However, you should consult with an attorney about this.

Spoke with a women there called mrs BOBO like thats a real name. Spoke with NYS Attorneys generals office told me to start a case against them.

Then you should do this.  I suggest you retain an attorney.

I was told this is there new way of freezeing people assets, Most people do not relized that this can be fought because it was not done by the NYS laws that protect you from preditors like them,

I don't understand this at all.  A judgment in and of itself does NOT freeze anyone's or any business's assets.  However, and enforcement order can indeed place levies against property and bank accounts.

Lets start a class action suit and teach them a that they just cannot do what ever they want to do. And shut them done with some heavy fines. And have there Law Licences REVOKED.......................

Why wait for someone else to start a class action.  If you have a case against them you need to prosecute your complaint in court.  You should consult with an attorney and get the ball rolling.
