Kitchenaid CAN NOT CLEAN KITCHENAID GAS RANGE Benton Harbor Michigan
I own a gas Kitchenaid range model # KGRAOBPSSOO and EVERYTIME I use the "self cleaning" button my thermal fuse blows. . Therefore I have to get a repairman to come fix the problem. I started searching on line to see if it was just my oven well come to find out I think it is everyone of them. See website: http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/load/appl/msg091303016942.html My repairman told me that the oven get to hot during the cleaning mode and it blows the fuse. That to me seems KA should be fix their design flaw.
I called KA to see what I could do. They told told me DO NOT use any cleaning solution (ex. Easy Off) because it could get dried in the holes so when the gas was turned on it may have a reaction and cause a fire. WOW, so do we have to wait for this to happen then they will fix their problem?? Do we have to wait for something/someone to catch on fire?? THIS IS UNREAL!!!!!
