Mrs. Cruz developed a reputation among the many employees of our company for her dishonesty in her transaction with us. It is rare that we encounter a customer who is not honest. Her claim with your organization is false. She saw a ring pictured in a national catalog that was made by one of the finest jewelry designers in the United States. She learned that we were a dealer for this particular designer and contacted us about making a purchase. The ring is a most unusual design and requires that each one be custom made to the proper size. It was made clear to Mrs. Cruz by more than one of our sales associates that this would be a final sale that could not be refunded. The reason was clearly stated that it would not be able to be refunded as it was a custom piece. It is simply not true that the return policy on this item was not made clear to her. She also states that the color looked different in the magazine than when she received it. That is a matter for her to take up with the magazine(if their color was not properly calibrated). The ad she saw was not ours-- it was an ad placed by the manufacturer of the piece. We sold her the same ring that she saw in the magazine. Mrs. Cruz was not only told of the return policy-- it was given to her in writing as well. This seems to be no more than a case of buyers remorse from a customer who changed their mind when it was too late. We were unable to detect any scratches on the item when it was sold to her. As the item was a custom piece-- it would have been almost impossible to scratch the ring prior to her receiving it. This further substantiates the dishonesty of this particular customer. She would not be welcome to shop with us again as we subscribe to the highest standards of ethics in the jewelry industry. Beware of this consumer!

Mrs. Cruz contacted us about a ring that she saw in a national catalog that was made by one of the finest jewelry designers in the country. Prior to purchase it was made clear to her that her purchase would be a final sale as the style of the ring made it necessary to custom make it to her size. She is dishonest in her assertions. She was told that there were no refunds and it was put in writing at the time of purchase. The ring was as promised -- she simply changed her mind in wanting it after it had been custom made for her. It is troubling that you have a web site that publishes dishonest information. Kranich's has been Central Pennsylvania's trusted jeweler since 1903. We are members of the American Gem Society. The society only admits jewelers who subscribe to the highest standards of ethics.
