Have your daughter go down to the local court house and file a Small Claims Case against this person. You may also want to contact your local District Attorney, because a NSF check is considered Check Fraud and they may prosecute this person along with you getting a judgment for the amount owed. Granted if this is her first offense she probably won't get any jail time, but would probably be hit with a fine, probation, and be "in the system" if she ever tried it again.
