I did not know about this website previously which is why I did not report it on here two years ago.

Kristy King is an animal abuser and a con artist. In September of 2016, Mrs. King sold me a beautiful, "bomb-proof" horse named Topaz. In his ad, she had posted many videos and photos that made him look like a well trained, well cared for, safe horse for beginners. I paid a whopping $10k for him which took me over a decade to save up.

Topaz, was a 5-year-old, Missouri Foxtrotter, Gelding. His registration number is 11-98086. When he arrived in CA he was anything but "safe" and "bombproof." This animal was a severely abused, underweight, skittish, and completely untrained animal. Even the haulers said that he was extremely difficult to handle and it seemed like he had never been trailered before.

I was so devasted and beyond heartbroken. I contacted Mrs. King but she never replied. After doing a little digging I soon found out that this woman had the reputation of doing this. And the other complaints on this website only support this fact.

I hired trainers to work with Topaz but he was too dangerous for anyone of any skill level to ride. Not only was he not green broke but he was head shy and obviously abused and mistreated. Every trainer told me that it would take years to make this safe horse to ride and he might not ever be safe.

After many months of deliberation and after spending tons of money trying to help this poor creature, I decided to donate him to a well-reputable cowboy in Missouri whom I had bought my first horse from. I had to pay to ship him all the way back to Missouri and when he arrived to the Cowboy he also agreed with everyone else's assessment of the horse. He had known about Kristy King and her scandalous ways.

So, not only did I not get the horse of my dreams that she had claimed to sell me but I also lost $10k. I will never recoup that money but I do hope that nobody ever buys anything from this awful woman ever again. I hope whoever is planning to buy anything from her googles her name first and finds this website. Heed everyone's warning, Kristy King of Ozark Mountain Trail Horses is an evil, lying, manipulative Con Artist.
