In the month of august kroger was running a sale, buy 10 boxes of frozen meals (certain brand) and save $5.00. Well, i bought 20 and did not get my $10.00 savings. I had left the store and gotten home when i looked over my receipt and relized i did not get my savings. I went back to the store and asked to speak to a manager. their was no mananger their, so i spoke to the desk employee that was their. she had no clue as to how to help me.

I went back again a few days later and again, no manager. the person that was helping me tried her best to figure it out on the receipt and even asked another employee. no one could help me out on getting my savings. I got screwed out of my money. So with this story, be careful when shopping their and always check your receipts before you leave the store.

Thank you for the solutions! My Problem now isnt so much as the money. Its the fact that their was people their that didnt know how to deal with this problem and they had no one to ask for help. They just looked clueless! Where was the managers? Out to lunch? It could have been that I wasnt understanding the receipt but still, i had no way to get an explanation of anything. Their was nothing on my receipt showing where i had saved my money. I dont normally complain about things like this but this one had me upset. Me and the first employee checked to make sure i had all the correct items and I did. I gave them the receipt and asked them to show me where my saving were because I didnt see them on there. No one could tell me anything. Well, I did end up going back their, it was actually about 6-7days ago. They had a sale on 4-pack, can moutanin dews. Hey, my husband loves that kind of drink so, I'll try it again. It rung up fine, no problem. The problem I had was the cashiers attitude! She rang up my stuff and I slide my EBT Card in the card machine. She looks at me like she was going to bite my head off. She make a grunt noise and I said was their a problem? She got really loud and said I should have told her I was using a EBT card. I apologized and had to swipe it again. She just looked horrible at me. For one, I have never been to a store that I had to let them know I was using this card before they began ringing up my items. then the attitude, it was disrespectful and humiliating. I went to another store tonight and I told the woman I had a EBT card. She said it was ok, to just swipe it through like a credit card that i did not have to let her know. I thought that was odd because of the experience at kroger. I am new with this card and never used it before in my life. I told her the experience i had a kroger and she was discusded by it. Well, no more kroger for me buddy. I should have said something to someone that day in Kroger about that lady, but didnt. I think for now on, Im going to stop being so nice and start reporting these people and problems.

i have been an employee of this company for nearly 20 years and deal with your sort of problem with a solution. first of all the office should have looked at their ad and seen that there was a complex deal going on where you buy so much of a certain product and save so much money. This is an easy fix because the stores file clerk who is in charge of making certain that these sales run smoothly should have checked to see if this complex deal worked and if it did not work then he/she should have called their file coordinator at the main office and it would have been corrected immediately. we at the store cannot correct this but the persons in charge at the head office can get together and fix this complex deal while on the phone to the file clerk. i can tell you one more thing and this is a fact that if this deal was not working at one store then most all stores in that particular zone it was not working and there are at least 12 stores in a zone so someone at some store would have reported it. there is no way that this would have gone on un noticed by any one employee or customer very long it would have to be corrected within a day. you may call 1-800-krogers as they offer their phone number at the bottom of every ad they hand out. for any other questions you may have and this company will certainly get in touch with you probably right after the problem was fixed for all the stores. One more thing and that is "Are you certain you purchased exactly what the items listed in the ad stated?" and not picked up something that was not advertized? please watch your specific item, its size, it all counts! thankyou
