Krogers Pharmacy ripoff abused & mistreated Sparta Tennessee
I saw my doctor on 06/13/2002 and she gave me two presciptions for a sinus infection.
Went to Krogers in Sparta to get the prescriptions filled. I have always gotten them filled at Krogers in Cookeville with no problems.
I was waited on by the pharmacist, D. Mark Solomon who was not busy and was treated very rudely by Mr. Solomon. Mr. Solomon told me that TennCare would not pay for these prescriptions and that I would have to drive back home and call TennCare myself. Mr. Solomon never offered to assist me.
I drove back home and called TennCare and the lady said I was covered and that she would call Mr. Solomon. She called me back and said that Mr. Solomon was very rude to her and for me to go back and get the prescriptions.
I drove 12 miles to get the prescriptions, waited about 10 minutes to be waited on while Mr. Solomon and his assistant were talking about how to cook something. I was the only customer at the time.
I am in the TennCare system which is the only health insurance I have but it pays for my prescriptions. I live on a fixed income and I do not have the money or the automobile to be driving 12 miles out of the way.

All companies have district and regional offices to whom you should report your concerns. My suggestion to you would be to go to another Kroger's, speak to the store manager and ask him for the name and phone number of the District Pharmacy Supervisor. I would then call this person and voice my complaint. Companies cannot fix things if they are not aware they are happening. Good luck to you!
