Krogers' Fuel Points SCAM! They overprice gas at Krogers and Turkey Hill to begin with. They give you Fuel Points that aren't applied! Great example: Gas advertised @ $2.89/gal. Consumer applied $0.20/gal. off to purchase of five (5) gallons for a total sale of $16.55. Total RIPOFF!

If the listed price was $2.89/gal. the Fuel Points would have brought the cost down to $2.69/gal. and at a purchase of five (5) gallons the consumer's total sale should have come to: $13.45. The ACTUAL Kroger charge worked out to $3.31/gal! And the company doesn't provide itemized receipts for the sale because there is no paper in the pump machines! Convenient, isn't it?

I had no idea this RIPOFF was so widespread. Had I checked here first I'd never have purchased gas from them. We've shopped Krogers for many years. Never had a reason to distrust them until now. Our entire family is swearing off on this company. We'll shop s competitor from now on. Oh, and btw, Kroger was contacted several times about this bait and switch. Cat must've got their tongues. Neither I or my relative have heard so much as a peep out of them!

I work for Kroger, but not in the area that you're talking about.  What I know about gas prices is that we will match our close competitors.  We shouldn't be too high.  There is a specific order that our machines follow.  It will ask for your Kroger card first, then credit card.  At the end, it will tell you your discount.  Be sure to follow the instructions on what button to push.  I've seen mistakes made where customers got the three cents instead of their full discount.

I'm not sure why there was no receipt tape in the pump.  There should be paper in there at all times.  And if not, the clerk needs to fix it.  But you should be able to get a copy of the receipt from the clerk.

Like I said, I hope this helps.

You sir are a jackass. Anyone can post as this is a open site. Krogers doesnt give two shakes of a rats a*s that you couldnt use your points. And before YOU start discounting WHAT someone has to say, You need to back the hell off of my RIGHTS!! I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY AS I WISH!! SO you can take your statement and shove it.

You dont post on a site dedicated to helping customers and then discount the information you get presented with. Thats just poor breeding on your part. Krogers doesnt care, their points system is a courtesy they give their customers for shopping with them. If you paid a different price then what is or was advertised, then there is a reason for it. Normally that reason is that you did not pay cash. If you did pay cash, then you need to find out what your states regulatory agency is that deals with Gas. Because this store would be breaking their individual state laws. One of which is the "bait and switch" law. It normally states that no business can draw you in with one price then charge a different price then is visably advertised. Most states have this law and you may find a remedy there.

Remedial math should be your first priority. Who cares where you "don't" work? You obviously can't count which is why you think your points work. Pathetic. If you know how to get a paper receipt out of the pump at purchase I'm sure that'd be helpful. Other than that?  You are suffering from methane overdose. Get your head out of your A**.

Before you go BUTTING you nose into what doesn't concern you shut your trap. You don't represent Krogers nor are you authorized to speak on their behalf. Do us all a favor and keep your worthless opinons (as well as your tired explanations of what happened to you in Vegas) to yourself.

You're a pitiful waste of time who knows NOTHING of the inner workings of Kroger's programs. Crawl back under that rock and CTFU.

You are also forgetting that HOW you pay can and does affect the prices. If you used a credit or debit card the costs of useing one of those can raise the price as much as .50 cents a gallon. I ran into it in Vegas. Some mom and pop gas station had added an extra .50 cents per gallon. When I went in to question them they explained that each gallon is a seperate item and the costs of running my debit card raised the price. Thankfully I didnt put that much gas in. So before you go blasting them make sure this isnt a issue caused by how you paid.
