LA Weight Loss ex-employee ripoff Sarsota Florida
LA Weight Loss: Wow. I'm an ex-employee who was very good at what I did. I doubled our revenue from the year prior for 28 weeks out the 36 weeks I was there. I got 9.2 out of 10 consultaions that walked in the door and I actually kept my staff the entire time I was there (and did my best to acutally keep them happy). I also managed to keep my clients and even bring old ones back. I even won an award.
Amazingly, I did all that while truly caring about the clients. Then I was fired. Why? Because I cared about my clients. You can't do that when working for LA Weight Loss. You cannot care. They are there ONLY to make you money and your area supervisor even more money. Here's some advice for any future clients:
If you go to LA Weight Loss for a consultation, don't drive a nice car there and don't put down on the initial questionnaire your occupation. Don't cry when you talk to them because they love that, and don't tell them your life story. It's doubtlful, but possible, you'll get someone who really cares. We're not supposed to do that. Oh, and don't talk to them about your husband, if you have one.
If you choose to enroll, don't tell them you can pay in full and don't accept care credit unless you are sure you can pay it in 3 months... period. Be dedicated and it will work, but there is NO need for the LA Lites. Follow the program and stay away from the supplements. If it's important to you to have pills, read the ingredients and go to your local nutritional store and buy something comparable.
Don't get attached to any one counselor or manager and don't expect miracles. The average weight loss is around 2 pounds per week, but you MUST follow - EXACTLY. Stay away from anyone in the center that is considered "higher up" than the manager (unless you have a medical situation that makes it necessary) and be nice and sypmpathetic to the trainees. They are normally not visiting from "another center," they are brand new. They have no idea what they are getting in to yet.
And most importantly, to anyone that I promised I would be there with them until the end, I'm sorry. I think about you all, all the time. Unfortunately, LA Weight Loss does't like people who actually care. This program does work, but use this advise to your advantage.
And advise to those who work there now? The no-compete clause is null and void if you get fired.
