I read this negative review when I initially considered ordering a ac power cord for my grandchildrens' laptops. I had to really think hard to risk placing an order with this company. But they did offer the absolute best price for the ac adapters and also said they guaranteed it would be the correct one or they would replace it until it was the right one. Not only that, but I needed 2 adapters for 2 grandkids and shipping was FREE. I decided to take the risk. Bottom line, they came through with flying colors. The adapter was the right one and it arrived in less than a week from the delivery date order. I received an immediate e-mail confirmtaion with tracking numbers. I placed the order on December 9th and received it by USPS on December 12th, with no additional charge for shipping. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the service and the product and wanted to at least give people another review to consider. I'm not saying that this fellow didn't have a negative experience in 2009, I'm simply saying that the store I ordered from in NJ which was located at laptoprescue.com did the right thing and is worthy of people's consideration.

Laptop rescue is a good compny and this report about laptop rescue being a fraud is such BS to the point where it makesme wonder if it was written by a competitor of the company. It is so obviously false. It makes me angry when people try to get away with stuff like that. anybody can say anything they want without a shred of proof on this website. i am writing this now because i am a customer of laptop rescue and they treated me really good for a great price. THEY DO NOT STEAL LAPTOPS!!! you can give them a call and talk to them your self. plus just look at all the good reviews that are already out there about them.

To respond to the illegitimate assertion that Laptop Rescue is not legitimate: (1) We now have good information indicating that the person who made the false complaint is actually a competitor attempting to make our company look bad (2) The person making the complaint has falsely claimed that the phone numbers listed in our rebuttal our not good numbers. This assertion is ridiculously easy to disprove. Why don't you just dial the numbers and you will see that Laptop Rescue is on the other end? The complainant's supposed reverse phone number look up is an obvious lie. For one, the prefixes listed don't even belong to the areas the fraudulent complainant is alleging. (3) Directly to the complainant: Why don't you stop by one of our locations so we can discuss the matter in person? If you are really a customer why haven't you filed a police report? The fact is you are a competitor and since you can't compete with us on price and quality of service, you have resorted to lies and defamation. As soon as we get firm confirmation, we will be filing a DEFAMATION LAW SUIT AGAINST YOU. Thank you to all our loyal and happy customers out there. We encourage all our customers to file their own positive reports here supporting Laptop Rescue.

"If you have any concerns feel free to visit either of the two regional offices of Laptop Rescue for a personal tour. Or contact either office by phone. Here's the contact info: Laptop Rescue, Los Angeles 12446 Venice Blvd Los Angeles CA, 900066 (310)737-1929 Laptop Rescue, Maryland 912 W. Isabella St Salisbury, MD 21801 410-677-3402" I am sry but i find your rebuttal to this complaint very flawed. You say that those are your contact numbers, I believe they are not even connected with you in any way seeing as how I did a reverse lookup on those numbers and this is what I found on anywho.com: P Banas 1837 Pac Cst Hwy Hermosa Beach, CA 90254 (310) 737-1929 Erica Rhoades 879 W Pulaski Hwy Elkton, MD 21921 (410) 677-3402 Now those numbers have no connection to either ur companies name nor the address and considering the fact that this is still 2009 and the report and rebuttal were filed this same year there is no way that they changed that fast. Also to note the customer reviews for your company all follow a very similar pattern as though someone took the time to put them together to make them seem legit. So in closing my dear friend I find you guilty of defrauding innocent people and unless you can verify to me in some way other than fake numbers and addresses, I shall have to side with the plaintiff. Good day to you sir or ma'am

As with any business that handles tens of thousands of customers, it is inevitable that a small number of them might be dissatisfied and possibly unreasonable. If, as consumers, we all made our purchasing decisions based on the tiny fraction of one-sided angry complaints, we would probably never buy anything, because there will always be one person in a thousand that will complain. This report is not even an honest complaint; it is an outright lie and defamation. Laptop Rescue is a 100% legitimate company in good standing in both the state of California and Maryland. Laptop Rescue IS NOT UNDER INVESTIGATION. This is a lie and is defamation. If you want to check the legitimacy and good standing of Laptop Rescue (owned by Innovatech Enterprises Inc) feel free to contact either the Maryland or California secretary of state's offices: CA: (916) 653-7244, MD: (410) 767-1340 Laptop Rescue does NOT steal people's laptops. This is a ludicrous lie and further defamation. Laptop Rescue has been operating for 3 years and is expanding nationwidedo you really think they could get away with stealing laptops and still be in business? Only fly-by-night businesses do this kind thing. If you have any concerns feel free to visit either of the two regional offices of Laptop Rescue for a personal tour. Or contact either office by phone. Here's the contact info: Laptop Rescue, Los Angeles 12446 Venice Blvd Los Angeles CA, 900066 (310)737-1929 Laptop Rescue, Maryland 912 W. Isabella St Salisbury, MD 21801 410-677-3402 It must be noted that the Rip off report is a one sided system which requires no validation or proof from the accuser. This means ANYONE can say the most egregious, blatant lies about any company. As we all know you can't believe most of what you read on the internet, so if you want the facts take the time to investigate your self by visiting or calling the company in question, then contacting the relevant state agencies to confirm if there are any legitimate legal complaints.
