Following, in December 2014, an inquiry to my, long time, banking institution...I was prompted, online, to a "reward" if i answered a few simple questions about my service experience.
Serveral options,including, a free "reward" for beauty products that are highly advertised. I agreed to pay $3.95 shipping and handling for DermaBright eye cream. Before I exited the screen...I was offered a sample product of Lavish skin care for additional $4.95 handling fee.
The sample products arrived in the same box with no paperwork or packing (kind of like bb's in a box) about a week later.
I noticed two charges on my bank account for the shipping. It did not seem unusual for the two different charges to be credited to two different companies until...
Two weeks later...I was charged $89.73 by a Texas company TRYDIVINESIN (odd amount)on my bank account associated with my Mastercard.I was unable to contact the company according to the number on my statment because it was not a complete phone number.
The other shipping charge associated with this transaction was the $3.95 paid to REJUVEONE and they did have a complete phone number CA 877 276-1933. When I called and talked to Leo(customer service) he told me that there was nothing I could do because the "fine print" signed me up for a reoccuring delivery of product that I was required to cancel just before the charge to my account happened. That struck me, then, that when I initially dialed the number...I was given information that I had already cancelled my account. Leo me to feel free to contact the Better Business Bureau.
I went to my bank to have them refund the unauthorized charge...submitted the necessary paperwork.
I called the REJUVEONE back after I received a notice from my bank that indicated the unlikely chance of my getting a refund because I had authorized the shipping charge earlier. When I called REJUVEONE and asked them why they had felt free to give my creditcard information to TRYDIVINESIN...they denied that they had done that and gave me a number for Lavish a California company 877 637-4555. I called that number and spoke with Latia id#4561 and she denied giving my creditcard information to REJUVEONE. They gave me a physical address of 3760 w mcfadden #B602 Santa Ana, CA 92704...just like REJUVEONE so I could have a lawyer deal with this.
