Law Offices of Steve Mattas American Cash Services aka ACS Collections Due to Unpaid Loan San Francisco California
I recieved several emails from ACS which is a parent company that owns and operates more than 350 websites, they said i applied for a cash loan of $300 online and that I never paid the loan back. I told them that I needed some more information of when I recieved the cash into my bank account and proof. I contacted my bank and they do not have any deposits of $300 dollars into my account. They say it was from my current bank 2 years ago, Well i realized that I have only been with my bank for over a year and this was done 2 years ago. They will not call me after I have asked to speak to someone on the phone instead of email. They keep saying they will sue me etc... Now I get a phone call from a lawyer by the name of Steve Mattas from the Bay Area. He has a heavy accent which I can not understand him, he called and basically said i had until 12pm to pay $100 to resolve this matter but I could not use check or atm. He wanted me to use some other type of way to pay which was a red flag for me. He still calls and bothers me. Has anyone recieved this type of call?

I am the Director of Human Resources at Meyers Nave, a law firm in Oakland, California, and write to inform anyone reading this post that one of our attorneys, Steve Mattas, has been the victim of identity fraud. Several individuals have been posing as "The Law Offices of Steve Mattas" and fraudulently seeking to collect money from victims. Our attorney, Steve Mattas, who works in Meyers Nave's San Francisco office, has not sought to collect money from anyone under the fictitious name of "The Law Offices of Steve Mattas." Please do not provide money or information to anyone claiming to be Mr. Mattas. We have notified appropriate law enforcement agencies. If you are contacted by this group, please contact your local police department and the FBI immediatly.
