My partner and I attended day one of the Learning Annex Realestate show yesterday in Toronto and were greatly disapointed. Instead of teaching techniques, skills and inroducing us to wealth-gaining tools, we were given only part of the information and then the attendees were hustled into signing up for the "experts weekend course" that normally costs $3000.00 US but this weekend only, they would offer it in Canadian Dollars and just for attending the Annex they would give us the membership or CD's free (a savings of $----) ... and the pitch went on.

We attended several lectures just to be fair and they were all the same. The audience was encouraged to participate and make a public and emotional commitment to take action to change their lives. Nobody realized that the action to be taken would turn out to be running to the back of the room with your credit card to sign up for a course that promised to really teach you the secrets of the Experts.

The M.O. was the same for all. Get us to like them, talk about their families, talk about how they are giving back to the community, throw us a bone then hustle as many people as they could to sign up for the weekend.

We were so disappointed that we did not return for day 2 even though Donald Trump was closing the event. Personally, I feel that any one who has lowered himself to be associated with this event is not worth my time, energy or money.

Either Mr Trump, Mr Robins and the rest just saw the pay check offered to them and could not be bothered to learn what the Learning Annex is truely about or they understand the true idea behind making money ... There's a sucker born every minute. All you have to do is get them together in the same place at the same time and let the salesman feeding frenzy begin.

I did learn one thing from the experience. My financial success depends on me and me alone.

Learning Annex did refund my money

To their credit, The Learning Annex did refund my money in a timely manner. That does not, however, excuse the fact that the program was misleadingly billed as an educational seminare.

THE LEARNING ANNEX REAL ESTATE & WEALTH EXPO IS A WONDERFUL LEARNING OPPORUNITY

The Real Estate & Wealth Expo is a wonderful learning opportunity. The program consists of seventy plus seminars in virtually every area of wealth building. Each seminar is an excellent and accessible training course taught by an expert in the field. We are sorry to hear that this student was not satisfied with his experience at The Real Estate & Wealth Expo. We previously provided this student with a full refund of his Expo tickets. We have been in business for over twenty years teaching our students how to better themselves and we want only satisfied learners.
