Lenox Freedom Resource rip-off Atlanta Georgia
I am a mother of three children who was looking for credit. I was contacted by phone, by a man named Patrick. He said he was Freedom Resource and he wanted to give me a credit limit of $2500.00. He told me all the great deals and assured me that i'd be happy with the package that i'd soon receive. He said my draft date was Jan. 4th and the money would be directly taken from my checking account.
On Jan. 9th it still had not been taken from our account so I called and canceled it. On Jan. 21st the money was taken out, despite our earlier cancelation. We contacted them and they said if we had the bank fax them a paper saying it was taken out by their company then they would reimburse our money. In the mean time we were over drawn at the bank and had to pay a penalty.
It is now Feb. 19th and their calls won't be answered. That $221.95 that they stole from us could feed our kids for a month. The problem is they don't care whose child doesn't have food as long as they have the ability to rip us off. Please be careful.... If they call you tell them where to go and hang up the phone.
When you call the number they give you, it says," This is a family owned business." Yeah right. Families don't take food out of children's mouths.
