Hello everyone,
I’m adding this scam report to the long cue from Leonore Dalmacio a.k.a. Leonore Cueto. I’m hoping someone will read this and won't be scammed by her.
It all started with a New York Craigslist ad. I connected and started talking on email and Viber with a girl that at the time I only knew as Len and after a few chats I met her at a restaurant in Englewood.
She told me she was the Director of Finance at a hotel in Brooklyn and soon to be CFO.
She was interviewing people off site for a Finance Manager. I found it weird but she explained that there were a lot of hard feelings against her at her hotel because of her upcoming promotion and she wanted to find the right employee on her own before bringing him or her to the hotel’s H.R. department.
She told me I was the final candidate and I needed to fill up an application which I did and then I had to pay her a fee of $150 for a background. I was supposed to start within 4 weeks if the results were satisfactory.
One day she just simply vanished and stopped answering my emails. When I called the hotel in Brooklyn they told me she was no longer working there.
I used her Viber and Linkedin pictures and did a reverse search on Google and came across ripoffreport and other sites. I’m shocked and horrified by the extent of her scam.
It’s not about the money I lost but how bad she played me.This is crazy. I keep reading the accounts of others and I’m even petrified that I met with this person and that I gave her my personal information like my social.
