One victim who works at a phone company stated that they set up new phones lines across the nation. Each phone line is then forwarded to their east coast (Norhern Virginia) location from which they carry out this scam. They require each victim to send their payments to:

This company regularly contracts and receives payment from customers for wedding entertainment, then attempts to subcontract the work out to other vendors. When they find a vendor, they allow them to perform, then never pays the subcontract. When they can not find a subcontractor, they many times simply do not show up for the event, and keep the customer's money, blaming it on unforeseen circumstances. The company uses misleading (internet) phone lines and in many cases, bogus addresses making it almost impossible to track their moves. The good news, is they HAVE been found. HAVE YOU BEEN BURNED? Right now, there is a joint, Texas and FBI investigation looking to file criminal charges against Pinnacle and their owners. WeDJ.Com has agreed to aid this investigation in any way that we can, in order to protect our members, the general public, and our industry from this companies bad business practices. Most of their offices are non-existant, their phone numbers are internet based, and they use virtual offices almost exclusively. The few "real" offices that they have had, they owed thousands (in the five figures), when they abandoned them. From what we can tell, almost EVERY aspect of thieir business is fraudulant.
