I purchased a Tmobile MDA from letstalk.com in April 2006. I filed for rebate in August. they did not send anything until november. I gave a different address in November. Still I am waiting for rebate check for $100. each time I asked about the check, they told me they mailed the check more than a month ago and I should wait for 30 days (thirty days!) to receive the check (as if they are sending by horse drawn carriage). when you say you did not receive the check, they say they will mail a replacement check which could take 10 weeks! this is ridiculous. beware of letstalk.com!

With a rebate from Alltel. I solved the problem by telling the CSR that if I didn't see some action in 24 hours I would set up my fax to send them my information ALL NIGHT LONG, every minute or so. After getting off the phone, I sent NUMEROUS emails containing my information to their inbox. The next morning I was informed that my rebate was processed and a check should be sent shortly. Imagine that. Just make yourself noticable in a way that is also annoying...... It may not sound nice, but I've always been taught that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Guess it works! :)
