Company sells items on eBay. I won an auction that closed on 3/18/05. I paid within 45 minutes via PayPal. On 3/29/05, I wrote and called to find out why the item (a shredder) had not arrived. They said "call UPS".

I called UPS. They indicated that Letterfolders.com hadn't asked them to pick up the item yet. True statement. The next day it finally shipped. No apology or acknowledgment from the company that they messed up.

Item arrived 4/4/2005, didn't work. Horrible packaging. I had to send the item back (an additional $12.24 out of my pocket). Replacement finally arrived on 4/18/05 and it actually worked.

During this time, the company would not provided feedback to my rapid payment. Multiple e-mails and phone calls were met with disinterested and uncaring customer "service" representatives. They did not refund my fee. Finally, I left negative feedback on eBay and they immediately retaliated with a negative to my 45 minute payment.

They failed to indicate that it took nearly 5 weeks to get the auction correct. They didn't honor the SquareTrade.com agreement that they proposed. Now, they blame me for being angry yet they absolutely refuse to admit any responsibility for their bungling of this auction.

An uncaring, crass, and totally unprofessional company that does most of their business right. But unfortunately, when they do make a mistake, they don't have the guts to own up to it. They consistently blame the consumer for their ineptitude.

The absolute worst eBay experience I've had in 6 years of using the auction site. A horrific company...avoid LETTERFOLDERS.COM like the plague. Or if you do use them, PRAY that your purchase goes well or it's literally hell to get them to act responsibly.

Company Now Refuses to Honor Agreement

When I had to return the defective shredder, via UPS, to the company, I paid the postage. Letterfolders guaranteed me over the phone and via e-mail that the postage would be returned. They also said the same to SquareTrade, the mediator of this dispute. Chris Corday, marginal owner of Letterfolders.com, has now written that he refuses to refund a "dime" of my money even though it is not his decision. Chris Corday has whined and complained about this entire transaction and has never been able to pick himself off the carpet long enough from crying, pounding his fists and kicking his feet to realize that they screwed up. Chris Corday's arrogance and inability to maintain control of his company is apparent. Chris Corday is a deadbeat who steals money from consumers and is why they have so many negative feedbacks on eBay. They will tout their 98% satisfaction rate but shouldn't it be better? How difficult is it to send items out on time and honor a business transaction? Chris Corday has a great deal of difficulty running a business and he has expressed his inadequacy at dealing with many of the day to day activities at Letterfolders. Chris Corday doesn't realize the tiger he has awoke. I may not get my UPS fee returned but I will be a rock in his shoe for such a long period of time that he will deeply regret having screwed the pooch on this one. Chris Corday hasn't a clue and he's the first to admit it.
