Lew Blum Towing Inc Stole my Car, Sherwin-Williams in S Phila helped. Sherwin-Williams owner called Lew Blum to have my car towed Philadelphia
Lew Blum stole my car. I parked my 6 month old 2013 Volkswagen in the lot shared by CVS, Automtive Parts, and Sherwin Williams paint at 1001 Washington Ave, Philadelphia, 19147. But closest to the paint store. I walked to CVS and spent maybe 30 minutes in the store . They didnt have what I went in for. Stopped in at the Automotive store and bought a battery. Came out to find my car had been towed. Total shoppng time, approx 45 minutes. I walked into the paint store to ask if they had seen my car towed they said yes. They told me that they DIDN'T call the towing company. I called Lew Blu Towing Inc and they confirmed that they had towed my car because the paint store had called saying there was a car parked illegally. I called the police. They came and took the details. They called Lew Blum to fact check. They confirmed that Lew Blum had taken my car and that the paint store had called. One of the two officers went in to ask the paint store owner if he had called and he said no. The cop called him out on it and the guy admitted he called the towing company. After $205 spent to get my car out, and a twenty dollar cab ride to north 40th street (great neighborhood) and after dealing with some real scum of the earth at the towing company desk who revel in making your day even worse.... I got my car back with a brand new scratch on the bumper. Don't Shop at Sherwin-Williams at 1001 Washington Ave, Philadelphia, 19147 because they apparently do this to every person who parks near their store and doesnt actually go into their store even though they SHARE the same lot AND ADDRESS as two other businesses. btw, there was no ticket on my car and no basis for having it towed.
