Received a yellow card stating I had a $4,000.00 credit line available to me for $241.00. I asked more than twice....is this a regular credit card and not a merchant card? The gal answered yes! I authorized payment from my checking account then tried to change my mind by placing a stop payment on the transaction. On Sept. 9th the amount was withdrawn anyway.

After calling my bank asking why they let them even with a stop payment they stated that a stop payment will only work if you have the exact amount. Well it seems Liberty Scam is aware of this trick so they deducted 221.99 then another 20 so the amount was not correct and the payment went through.

Liberty Scam said it would be 4-6 weeks to receive this card. After 10 weeks I called to hear that because of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11th there would be delay of a few more weeks.

It is now Dec. 4th and I have not heard or received anything. After reviewing other reports on this web site I see that it is a merchant card. These people should be ashamed of themselves for lying and cheating. I'm going to file complaints to as many consumer groups as possible.
