I was told specifically by the Lifestyles representative that If I purchased membership into Lifestyles, they would buy my existing timeshare. I was assured the " I would no longer be responsible for my timeshare nor the annual maintenance fee ". Lifestyles never paid the maintence fee nor do they intend to. My timeshare has sent my account to a collection agency. There was no miscommunication. Lifestyles promised to take my exising timeshare completely out of my hands. The lifestyles representative used an outright lie in order to get me to purchase. Getting rid of my existing timeshare was a major reason why I purchased; otherwise I would never have purchased Lifestyles.

I was told that as a member I would be able to purchase a villa, whenever I wanted; for $699 per week. I was assured that a villa would always be available for members. After joining, I find out that the villas are booked for 2 years in advance. The sales rep. had to have known this information, yet he lied to get me to join. I told him that the most appealing part of the program was the villa rental and this was one of the reasons I would purchase membership. He tricked me.

Twice I confirmed a 2 bedroom condo. Twice, I was given a confirmaton number. Twice I was downgraded at the last minute with no advanced notice or explanation. The 2nd time I was forced to stay in a 1 bedroom...I had another couple with me so I was forced to sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed.

Lifestyles changes the rules at a whim. Each manager has a different set of rules. Lifestyles promised to send me a membership packet, so that I can review the rules and regulations, yet I have received nothing.

I have received nothing that was promised to me upon signing to join Lifestyles. The all-inclusive fee has already been increased on me 1 month after joining. My confirmation of accomodations have meant nothing. I have been downgraded both times that I have booked without advanced notice or explanation. Lifestyles changes the rules at a whim. Lifestyles agreed to purchase my timeshare in exchange for membership...this has not happened.

I have tried for over 3 months to contact Lifestyles to no avail. I cannot get an corporate office phone number or address. I have tired to deal with customer service, yet no one has contacted me in a timely manner, nor are they willing to work out a solution.

I hope that you can help me or give me information that I can use to try to obtain a refund of my money.
