This woman breeds some really pitiful newfoundlands, refuses to show pedigrees, and I have it on good information that the registration may not be correct. She tells customers that the puppy died, (did this to a friend of mine,) and refuses to return deposits. She also does everything she can to ruin any competition who tells the truth about her, She and a group of puppet frinds post reports on this site one after the other. I warn any potential customer to call around the newf community and ask about this person. I can't even think of another breeder who would give a good word for her. She has all ready posted reports about my company that are totally fabricated, and former friends of hers have called to tell me they did so also at her dictation and direction..and are now sorry. I would avoid doing any kind of business with this individual as she lies like Casey Anthony. do not believe ANYTHING

I was hired by Lisa, well I guess I can't really say I ever worked for her! She is coocoo for cocoa puffs putting it lightly. Her kennels could have been kept nicer! There were flies every where and she kept most of her dogs out side on gravel in the heat no shade!!! I thought to my self really these dogs have thick coats and are dark in color! She wouldn't last an hour why should they.. I couldn't get out of there gays fast enough!!and the whe time she bad mouthed so many other breeders to me that's a red flag!!!

Please take notice that Lisa A. Martens and Lisa A. Martens dba Lighthouse Newfoundlands commenced an action in the Lorain County, Ohio, Court of Common Pleas, Case No. 12CV177494, due to the deceptive and defamatory statements made by Julie Thomas in Ripoff Report No. 919402. In this action, and in compliance with Ariz. R. Civ. P. 45.1, the Clerk of the Maricopa County, Arizona, Superior Court has issued a subpoena to Ripoff Report for the contact information of the person who posted these statements on Ripoff Report.
The subpoenaed information will be sent to Thomas M. Horwitz, Esq., Thomas M. Horwitz Co., LPA, 1991 Crocker Road, Suite 600, Westlake, Ohio 44145.
The Maricopa County Superior Court is located at 201 W. Jefferson, Phoenix, Arizona, 85003. The Lorain County Court of Common Pleas is located at 225 Court Street, Elyria,Ohio 44035.
