They send you a worthless and downright fradulent check, tell you to deposit it and take cash out to send them with a real check of your own. That way you are on the stick at your bank to make your check good when theirs bounces. Best ro wait a week or two for the "winnings" to come back NSF and then take the check and mail it to your state Attorney General for prosecution. Time to close down these sub-human maggots for good. GGGGRRRRR!!!!

i was told that all fees would be taken out automatically and that all I had to do is call when I received the check to notify them.

THE CHECK FOR FEES / TAXES IS THE RED FLAG Legitimate lotteries and sweepstakes do not send you checks to pay fees and taxes with, just to have you send the money back to them. Those fees and taxes are removed from winnings BEFORE you ever see a check.
